This Red Oolong is a modern interpretation of Taiwanese tea craft, positioned between a black tea and a traditional oolong. With a higher level of oxidation but finished in a rolled oolong style, it brings together the depth of black tea and the smoothness of oolong into a single, balanced expression.

Made from a “mixed leaf” production of Jin Xuan and Si Ji Chun cultivars, both picked and processed together, this tea achieves a natural harmony rather than a post-production blend. Multi-step baking further refines its texture, resulting in a rounded, mellow cup with notes of citrus brightness, soft milk chocolate sweetness, and a gentle apricot-like freshness.

Smooth and without dryness, it finishes creamy and lingering — an elegant, easy-drinking tea suited for relaxed, slower moments.

Baguashan is a low-elevation tea-growing region in central Taiwan, located in Nantou County. Known for its gentle hills, warm climate, and stable growing conditions, the area produces teas with a softer structure and approachable character. Compared to high mountain teas, Baguashan teas tend to be more rounded and expressive, often showing notes of ripe fruit, honeyed sweetness, and a smooth, easy-drinking body. This makes it an ideal terroir for styles such as GABA oolong and red oolong, where depth and balance are key.
